Ahhh so this is typical for all Ford orders? The Thursday (or Wednesday) night that is after the Monday 2 weeks prior to the build week? In our case Monday 12/21 was two weeks prior
This is my home-brew chart of build weeks and when the sticker will appear, frequently it's come a day early, and on one occasion last summer prior to the mid summer plant idle & maintenance, they issued 3 weeks of stickers on one week!!

Nerdy details, ... just how many of the weeks overall production will divert to the spray shop queue.
When a truck doesn’t have an item in a certain shop…it skips to the next shop I assume ?

does anybody know which items would need to jump in a different assembly line and which happen all on one line? This question is targeted at understanding If

A/B/C all happen on the frame assembly line…what happens if one truck doesn’t need B (max cooling, or something else), does it somehow skip ahead or does it just wait for the truck ahead to get B installed to then move ahead.

Could be a dumb question. Maybe they actually just put the trucks that need less stuff in the front.

Would love to know the assem process for our trucks

I've never been in the factory, but have seen a few videos of what is happening at REVC and other make & models of modern vehicle assembly plants.

99% of the work is on the mainline at the end of the line, if the truck passes QC with all components installed it goes direct to holding for shipping, waiting for a scheduled departure convoy or rail. While trucks with spray in liner are diverted to a shop for application of liner, once done the truck goes to the shipping que.

Trucks passing operational QC but missing part(s), go to a holding area until they are available then moved to a shop for installation of delinquent part(s), then onto shipping queue.

Trucks with operational failures are held adjacent to the production line for technicians to trouble shoot and get rolling, hopefully that is not common, but in mass production you have to expect a few issues with poorly seated connectors and such. Once these are debugged they move onward to spray-in-liner queue if spec'd for it or directly to shipping queue.

Blend day 10/28 to 11/9 seem to have a number of trucks not reaching timely built status, I'll assume it is because of parts issues.

BTW, I’m 886/887 and being th optimist that I am, I feel like that puts me at the front of the pack.
This is the best thing that I have ever read on this forum. EVER!

Good info thank you!

shoot! I hope it’s cleared up by our blend date 🙏🏻. glad I didn’t get spray in. Sounds like that could add at least a day since it’s in another shop.

Checked my window sticker again this morning and looks like the number in the upper right has changed to 228/461. Yesterday, it was 379/887. Blend date is still 12/7. Lariat with spray in bed liner. Could they have cut the number being built for that week in half?

That’s super strange. Mine is still 272/887 with 12/7 blend.

The gross volume is still 887, but you and 460 other trucks are heading to the "spray in liner" shop that week.

TaxmanHog is there anything you don't know about the lightnings and this process?🤣🤣🤣 I feel like you know more than most Ford employees.

Starting to lose hope of a 2022 delivery (PRO no options, 12/7 blend, NJ) after seeing some recent hold ups.

I'll be happy to have my truck delivered in January. Thinking it will be delivered in December is a pipe dream that everyone is holding on to just to be disappointed.
