You don't know how broken hearted I am still. Just thinking about not getting my truck for at least a month or more just irritates me to no end. I would like to think that Ford might take care of me in this instance, but I'm definitely not counting on it.

I hope I’m not crying more than you if your truck makes 2 trips to Texas before mine leaves Dearbor. LOL
I feel some of your pain, but I know that doesnt help. An extra 1000 hours of charging would be nice in your case.

rlbussard's story is the worst I've seen.

However, being a 5/5 blend and seeing NOTHING from Ford for weeks/months is pretty crappy. The impact is potentially THOUSANDS of dollars, literally.

I'm headed to talk to my dealer today. They might not know any more than I do, but at least I'm hoping they can start a fire on my behalf. Next after that is putting Jim and Ford on blast via the socials... lol

4/21 blend and it took 58 days before I received a 'Built' email on 6/18. 58 days for you would be 7/2, I have no idea of the rhyme or reason of when these things are produced and shipped, hopefully they contact you sooner than 7/2 but hoping that date at least gives you something to go by.

I can't even figure out if the truck left Mesquite to go back to Dearborn yet. It was supposed to leave on Saturday, but my dealer told me a couple hours ago that the visibility report shows nothing new. My luck is still sitting at the railyard waiting to ship. If it goes my rail, to do a 30 day turn around it would take 20 days up and back which leaves 10 days to do repairs and ship back out. That has me late July at best. If they flatbed it back, then they significantly cuts time, but no one knows anything.

For whatever reason I cannot get the Ford order tracking page to load, where else can I find the "in production date" and I will send it over.

I think you could still beat me @TaxmanHog tells me to be patient, but with no activity as we close 8 weeks, I’m hoping by September. So I’m in your court. I know they can accelerate a rebuild say if your vehicle was lost in a tornado. Can they prioritize yours in the same effort? Anyway to reach ford regional rep?

My dealer didn't know anything so he called the regional rep. The regional rep is the one that told my dealer what happened. Not that he knew, instead he had to call big Ford and find out why my truck was on hold at the railyard.

That's what pisses me off the most. Ford could have been forthcoming with information so myself, dealer and regional rep wouldn't have been left in the dark on what was happening. We all thought my truck was coming because Ford didn't tell anyone at all until someone called them about it. And then they asked them to not tell me the extent of the situation.

In the end, it's a TPMS sensor, hood latch, and 2 other little things that my dealer could have fixed instead of shipping it all the way back.

How did they even let it out with those things is the key. They had it plenty long to fix those items.

So very true. It was produced on the 10th and didn't ship until the 2nd. They had 22 days to do something about it and just left it sit like so the rest of us.
