For kicks today I wanted to try sending the activation request to the truck again from the ford app. The current request had been pending for a while. You can get the activate button back (if you're stuck at pending) by closing the app and clearing the cache. I've done this before and it's always seemly communicated with the truck again and said the usual about clicking the button on the truck screen to activate.

Today I have tried it a few times and am getting an error about not being able to complete the request. Assuming the truck doesn't have a clear line of sight to the sky to receive the request right now. This probably means the truck has been loaded up on a railcar or convoy? I can hope.

No idea if they actually convoy the trucks down 500~ miles to STL from Dearborn or if they train them.

I was notified it was built on 6/8/2022.
I was notified it was shipped on 6/15/2022: Estimated Delivery 6/30/2022 - 7/6/2022

I don't know how to track convoy shipping anymore since the https://palsapp.com/ site was updated. My attempts to activate the truck have repeatedly failed or been denied. The dealer keeps saying they don't know or people who can know are not available (rural small dealer). Given that they haven't been notified of delivery as of now, it will be at least 7/6 before I get it.

Get your dealer to give you a visibility report and it will have the railcar or truck number on it for you to tell it. Worst case, you can go to Ford chat or call them and they can give you the number.

Day 14 with my built email, still no updates...bleh. Did just talk to my dealer and they got their mannequin in a couple of days ago. Trying to decide if I want my first drive to be in the mannequin or my truck........

Yes, looking forward to the shipping notification next, recent trends indicate 1-3 days to get to shipped status, though exceptions apply and during the production pause it was 12-28 days, hopefully those days are behind us.
