Haha sorry I was swamped at work yesterday and today....I was able to get to the dealer yesterday evening and do the deal! It's been 100+ degrees for the past month and of course last night when I was picking up the truck it was severe thunderstorms and crazy downpours so I couldn't have too much fun.

I am a little surprised on the size of the Frunk, thought it would be bigger. I have to take a couple of my longer clubs out of the golf bag for it to fit.

After scanning about 200 vin's each morning for changes, I I get bleary eyed.....
A bunch changed ETA's this morning, now I look forward (NOT) to trimming them all by a day or so Friday morning

If mine changed twice in one day I feel like they must be getting some kind of data to do that. Or not, who knows. Talked to Ford Chat earlier this afternoon and they had the truck at Ramp 6K at the rail drop area in Wentzville - so assuming that means it is fully unloaded and waiting for Jack Cooper. Being able to get it this weekend would be great.

My ETA after midnight remains 7/29-8/4 -- my dealer's demo updated on the CA tracker to match.

Oddly my Window sticker is now working off the link on the Ford sites. The Ford links haven't worked since like late April.

Now it says "notification ground only" - I love rail lingo. Guessing that means it was dropped off and someone was notified to unload it(at the rail yard). ??

Oh and my dealer's demo updated with an ETA of the 31st now. Mine however remains he same at the 28th. Either the demo is actually on a separate rail line coming in or Ford is just being Ford and giving 2 different estimates for the relatively same delivery conditions.

Now an after the fact observation. We were all in the same waiting club waiting for ship. now I’m the outsider, black sheep of the family, for mine going convoy, while you all are dealing with train delays.
I found, we don’t get, extra charge hours, $500 gift card, no Tesla adapter, no bed outlet adapter.

Does a dealer get any kind of contact/communication from a truck company when they are about to make a delivery? For example, would Jack Cooper contact my dealer when they are about to show up with a delivery? Or they just show up?
