Mhmm. Pickup is scheduled for tomorrow. They still installed the “security alarm” but will disable it and not charge for it….
I also had to decline the:
$5995 service plan
$4995 maintenance plan
$1295 perma plate coating
Which brought my XLT SR cost up to $77k …
Do folks actually fall for this nonsense ?
Fingers crossed for no more surprises tomorrow.

How did you get them to ship the charger to you before the truck arrived?Recevied email from Sunrun to confirm the shipping address on 8/3.
I confirmed the shipping address on 8/10 and I got an email today that FCSP has been shipped.
ETA is next Tuesday 8/16. I would see the charger before the truck.
Since dealer contacted me to talk about financing options, but they didn't provide me the specific date. Website shows 'Estimated Delivery 8/8/2022 - 8/14/2022'
I guess this is better so it can be installed and charge the truck from Day one.

According to the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking site vehicle was still in shipping.
The estimated ship date changed to 8/12-8/18.
However, I received an email from Sunrun on 8/3/22 to verify the shipping address.
Also, I received an email from Ford 'please tell us about your recent experience at 00 Ford' on the same date. My Ford pass activation was denied on the same date. I called the dealer, and they said they don't have specific information about when the vehicle will arrive. I suspect they received the vehicle on their lot, but they were not telling the truth. Ford may knew that vehicle had arrived and triggered the purchase process.
I verified the address on 8/10 on the Sunrun email link. The charger arrived on 8/15.
I received the email from ford to complete the purchase on 8/16/22 and received a phone call from the dealer that the vehicle had arrived.

Successful delivery. No dealer funny business and was able to close funding with CAFCU @ 1.99%, $0 down, 60 months. Though it was a bit of a nightmare getting the paperwork that they needed

Some unfortunate news for me is that the teslatap adapter connected to the Tesla wall connector is not working :/. It does not fit snugly enough. I need to apply pressure to allow it to charge. Using the mobile connector for now does work as expected. Will see what they suggest and return if there is no solution.

Well, color me perplexed on my truck's transit itinerary. Spent a day in Decatur, IL and just departed an hour or so ago; but instead of taking the straight shot down toward St. Louis it's headed toward Kansas City......hoping it hits Moberly depot and works its way back east.

I’m almost glad that I couldn’t get a Pro when I finally got my dealer changed. Hearing my wife gripe about more frequent charges would not be fun. She’s been pretty spoiled with the ID.4.

Just landed in Wentzville. It will literally have to drive past my house to get to the dealer. Should I post up with some popcorn on an overpass and keep watch?
