I think this was discussed a few pages ago but when I start the truck after having it in Sport driving mode I see a message in the instrument screen asking if I want to stay in Sport.

I enabled Alexa but not sure how to contact her! Use the steering wheel button of the talking head?
I just say “Alexa” and she magically responds. When I push the button on the wheel, it’s Ford.

The message appears if you just jump in, but if you remote start it defaults to standard.

Makes sense, I don't/haven't remote start yet. Maybe I didn't successfully complete the Alexa initialization because I was calling for her and she didn't want any of it.

@Ford Senior Master I picked up a set of OEM 20" wheels from a 2021 or 22 STX and the owner said the TPMS sensors are still in there. Will these trucks automatically learn the new addressing when I swap wheels and drive for a bit?

Will I need to get Forscan to recalibrate the speedometer? I'm going from the Pro tire size to the 275/60/20 so a little bigger overall diameter.
Yes the sensors will need to be programmed to the truck unless you swap for the ones in your wheels.
If you do not program speedometer you should only be off 2 mph at 70 mph.

See if you have Alexa settings in your settings menu. I thought mine was set up and had the same issue. I had to re-activate it

On another note... we will be ponying up the big bucks to be Model E Elite dealer. I doubt I'll ever need to use the charger but I will be glad we have them for the traveling crowd.
As will we. Crazy Cost but really needed as the charging network sucks.

In the process of planning three trips, and all 3 trips get me to my destination with about 10% and no near by chargers. 2 of the trips I have no way of charging at the destination either. With that being said I will sadly be trading in the lighting. I will be back one day when the charging network catches up. Now on to hard part of trying to find a truck I want and get a dealer to sell it to me at D plan.

It would be a lot more of a toss up at that point.
I haven't ever had more range than 250 miles on my EVs until I got the Rivian. Having 314 miles...makes a bigger difference than I thought it would. Not that I 250 wasn't enough, especially for day to day but that extra big has been a VERY nice peace of mind buffer.

That said, throw it up on Turo or do a private lease. That's what I'm doing. I've owned the F150L for one month and so far it's brought in over $5,000. Between that and the tax credits, the vehicle is 38% paid off.

Any rv parks or boat yards near where your going? We‘re headed to myrtle beach in oct and it’s a somewhat similar situation. Closest EA is in Lumberton NC. No charger at the destination and there are no fast chargers nearby. I am starting to call around to see if any of the local rv parks will let me plug in for a fee.

Closest to myrtle beach? Or on the way?

There’s CCS at the Kia and Nissan dealers nearby

Everything green is compatible, everything orange is a fast charger:

How practical is it to have/take a generator at/to your destinations?

Then you’d potentially have (another) home backup on top of your “portable charger”.

So the green ones are all 7kw or less, and from the reviews many of them don‘t seem to be all that positive. I saw the Nissan dealer and Kia, those look the the best viable option. They’re about 25 mi from where we’re planning on staying.

You could probably throw it in the bed, but enough fuel to run it to charge the truck wouldn’t be a great, you’d be living at the gas station.

If only someone made an electric truck but included a built in generator….
