First movement in weeks, and I mean weeks. This weekend the truck's location on FordPass app kicked on. Here my truck sits, cold and lonely, just waiting to be loaded on a Convoy for Cincinnati. I'm just telling myself by Thanksgiving I'll get it so I won't be disappointed. At least I assume this means my truck does in fact exist even though the tracker on the website still says "In Production 8/26"

Still no sign of this truck in Charlotte. Ford seems to think it is still in a rail car in Winston-Salem. More to follow once the truck arrives!

My heart just skipped a beat; my tracker has reset to "Order Confirmed" so I am hoping it moves to "Shipped" tomorrow.

I got an email from Ford. But it was the we apologize for the delay as they are just as frustrated as I must be.

My dealership reached out to me saying my truck is delayed because of the chip shortage. Not sure if that accurate or not.
But then they offered me another lariat lightning 2022 though and in red(no go on color) but with all the discounts it's down to $66k from 81k msrp.

Not factoring I also get the x-plan on top of those discounts. Really hoping my truck is delivered by October 31 so I can get the retail customer cash bonus.

Most retail customer cash offers expire 1/2/2024. It’s possible the 10/31/2023 expiration date on that red Lightning is because it’s a 2022.

Truck finally updated to "Built" with an estimated delivery date to Cincinnati (Convoy) of 10/28-11/3. Anyone know if that estimate is ever wrong on the side of it being delivered sooner? Or is it just likely to keep getting pushed back from this estimate?

Your dealer is a short day ride from the factory, you likely won't know that it's shipped until it arrives at the dealer for Final Preparations.

That is great to hear. Because I was gonna hate knowing I'm missing out on a huge cash rebate because of the delay.

There isn't anything about the 2024 models that excite me about them. Same battery. Some minor exterior changes. Really until a new model with a battery that's 2x as large or something of that realm. I don't need to keep waiting for the next model for a small upgrade.

That's why I was so happy when I grabbed my 2017 platinum f350 back when they first came out. It had all the bells and whistles and still anything since then only has minor changes or tweaks.

my XLT avalanche was an 8/21/23 build, they said it would be delivered between the 12th and 18 October got a call on the 13th to pick it up. I loved the truck and the color.2 days later and 50 miles I noticed that there was a coolant leak. It is currently at the dealership waiting for new radiator. It will take a week to get the part. This is very disappointing!!
