Well, that's interesting, I was told you had to do the scales as well. I had no want or desire for them but did want the CCD.

I saw the FYI on the website builder too, but while playing with it and manually selecting scales it would change my trailer tow package to max tow package and I didn’t want to lose that much more payload with the PB. So I went back through the builder and selected CCD with the trailer tow package and just never clicked the scales and smart hitch option. No one said anything at the dealer, so I figured I’d roll the dice.

I’ve actually gotten lucky through this whole build process.

I wanna say you have to get both scales and CCD on platinum but I could be off there. I wanted both so it wasn’t an issue for me.

FYI Since the level and tires my onboard scales doesn’t seem to be working…I’ll follow up once I know more. It’ll probably be good for me to schedule a trip to the dealer just to ensure everything is still good to go. Haven’t received any codes and ride quality is fine.

Did you get the scales figured out? Any other issues? I have a limited with the ccd and am wanting the 2 in level you got or the 3.5 sst from ReadyLift. ReadyLift is telling my shop the 3.5 will work but not the 2 in level.

What’s weird is I was told that my truck has CCD but it’s nowhere on the window sticker. I contacted the dealership and they told me that all 2021’s from King Ranch on up have

it. You would think that it would be listed somewhere under features…

Take a picture of your rear suspension. The CCD is black and has an accessory tube feeding into the shock.

That is not correct it is a cost option. I picked up my 2021 platinum yesterday and it does not have it.

Since it's not compatible with the FX4 package, how can a salesman say such a thing?
Tell customers that they can no longer get FX4 if they buy a KingRanch and watch KingRanch sales plummet.
(Although I admit that today's FX4 package is more branding than it is anything else)

I called and gave my vin# and my truck has it. I just found it odd that it wasn’t listed.
