Well sorry but didn’t workout. Gosh I hate dealer with false advertisement. We discussed one thing and when it’s time to actually close out the deal the discount all of a sudden is different from what was agreed upon. They made up some non sense initially ford bonus cash 7500 is part of the federal rebate. Then afterward they claim dealer discount is part of federal rebate… bad review incoming for them.

So I got the extended range lariat. Tired of negotiating and agreed on 55kish after all discount

Definitely a shady dealer. They kept me there for over 6 hours and played with the numbers while closing. No drinks or food i got tricked and got me to sign with slightly over 3k over agreed price on Saturday. Went home and recheck the numbers because it just don’t seem right to me. After discovering they cheated me I went back Monday when they opened again and talked to the GM. Was told he can’t do anything so I was ready to file a lot of complaint as well as small claim court since the advertisement clearly show the discount.

On my drive home he called me and agreed to send me refund check. Got the check today so at the end it’s not the 53k I hope to score but 55kish is good enough for me.

Although I don’t want to help or deal with this dealership again. If anyone interested they still have a few extended range lariat left. Send me PM and I’ll give you the detail with some things to look out for. Their location is in PA

Unfortunately this is all too common with dealers. The really good ones have nowhere near as good deals because they have a vast phone book and loyal customers that would take a worse deal for better service.

The really good deals seem to be from pure scum that were marking these up $30k.

Yes, I went in expecting a battle with them but was thinking after the price is agreed with the sales person I didn’t need to worry about closing/signing with the exception of declining add ons and extended warranty. Never did I expect that I would need to re-negotiate the price again. I purchased quite a lot of new cars in my life and this practice is new to me or I have been very lucky in the past.

I promised to give them 5 stars with ford customer satisfaction survey in exchange for the refund check which I will do. However I never said I will give them a glowing review on google. Just waiting for the check to clear before I write it up.

So, the Ford cash plus dealer discounts really bring the price down another $15000 ... many of us only got the 7500 off from Ford plus the 7500 fed credit ... and yet others paid full price plus adm ...

Not much to see. You can check the wholesale prices(what dealers pay at auction) with dealer access. Adj MMR on a 23 Lariat is $52,000 now and still dropping. 22 Lariat is under $44,000. Wholesale market doesn’t differentiate between SR or ER.

The whole point of me doing a balloon loan is to ensure that I do not pay any further depreciation that this truck will face. I would have passed on this deal otherwise.

great deal, can't even get a 2024 ICE XLT for that price

Yes I agree I still think it’s a good deal. Issue was more of the lies, deceit and games they played. They claim fed credit included in dealer discount which I strongly dispute that they can’t claim it’s their discount on the website when it’s federal funding. This was going to be my argument when I was planning to take this to small claim court.

yes I find a lot of dealers do this....short sited of them.....they may get an occasional person but they lose out on reputation and long term customers
