So I've been researching and it's a mix bad of information.

I'm looking for exact part I need to get built in in functionality on the truck and the gain control, where the coin slot is.

I saw part ML3Z19H332AA mentioned. But the. I see ML3Z19H332AB. Is it correct AB is the one? I read both work but AB is just the newer version and replaces AA.

This comes with the controller module and the gain slide/control, correct? Sound like my truck has a controller but YOU HAVE TO REPLACE the one there with this module and then hook up the gain control. Alot of reading, this is what I e concluded.

So if all that is correct, I'll need to then do some updates with ForScan. I have not tracked those specific changes yet, but sound like once that is updated, everything becomes available, correct?

Just wanted to verify so I order the right thing and have it all ready. Have to take the riding mower in and tractor for yearly maintenance.

Thanks in advanced!

Having just gone thru this same thing, and making the mistake of ordering the wrong one, I can confirm 100% that ML3Z19H332AB is the right part for the 2024 Flash.

Thanks to @Jesse-Infotainment for the help correcting my mistake.

And you use both pieces that come with the part right? You replace the controller that is there (swap) and then hook up the gain controller in the coin slot....?

Let me check the infotainment site out. I think I saw it there a while back, if they sell it.

Do you have any notes on specific updates with forscan off hand? Would save me some research.

Appreciate the info though! Feeling good about this upgrade now.

Yes, both parts are needed. The controller that is in the truck does not have the right hardware nor firmware to actually work as a brake controller.

In Forscan just go into APIM and IPC and search for trailer. You'll see all the settings that are disabled, change them to enabled.

If you get the whole kit from inforteinment you won't need forscan. They have the "genie" programmer that will do it all for you by just plugging it into the OBDII port. If you already have it maybe Jesse can help with the kit without the genie. Jesse may be able to confirm but, if you don't get the genie you may also need FDRS. I had to use it to write the VIN to the module and run a couple of config procedures to get mine to work but I am not sure whether that was cause I dicked something up using the wrong controller the first time or it is part of the process.

If they don't have the kit PM me and I have a potential 2nd source for it but try infotainment first as they help us here on the forum.
