I need the 240-volt, 30 amp outlet in the bed. Can that be obtained without the extended battery?

Based on everything we have seen, yes the 9.6kw system (which gives the 240v outlet) is a book separate option from the extended range battery, however we won't know 100% until the build and price tool opens up.

Thanks for the reply. If I've read correctly, that means the regular public has to get an XLT with extended battery and the Pro Power Onboard options....going to be probably $60K. I sure hope the info is wrong and the PRO with extended battery will be available for non-fleet buyers.

To clarify, what the previous post said is that 9.6 kw system can be purchased separate from extended battery. So far looks like they will make this option available on the Pro trim but nothing is final till the build information comes out officially.

Sorry, completely misread that post to mean the opposite. Thank you for the clarification.

Looked to me like it'll be available as add-on for about $1000. Kinda pricy, but cheaper and most of all less hassle than a generator. I'm definitely getting it.

Me too. I live in Florida…frequent power outages with storms each year. That 9.6kw, even on the standard battery will power the critical circuits on my house. The Pro model with standard battery is all I need. I have no need to travel far or tow.
