I sure hope you’re right- it would be disappointing to gain access to the ubiquitous Supercharger network, only to find that charging rates are lower than EA because of having to use an adapter.
Maximum charging rates of the superchargers will be lower with the adapter since the charge cables are liquid-cooled and that can't be extended through the adapter. HOWEVER, this is not something that our Lightnings will be affected by. Our trucks top out at about 175kW charge rate and don't hold the maximum very long, so we won't notice any slower charge times.

And future versions of the Lightning and other upcoming EVs will have the NACS port integrated, so once again a non-issue.
