no matter if you complain that your original Leaf can 'only' go up to 70 miles, or your Lightning PRO can 'only' go up to 240 miles, or your new 'future' EV can 'only' go 1,000 miles, there will always be a reason to complain... you just have to make do with what you have, plan accordingly, and realize that it may NEVER be perfect. People run out of gas every day across this country. It's not the end of the world. It's an inconvenience, yes, but not a life changer.

I did my first road trip in my Lariat SR.
515 miles.
Used Electrify America chargers to burn up some of the "free" 250kWh's that came with the truck.

Trip was pretty simple. 3 stops needed.(left at 100% but didn't need to).

Our electricity rate is $.11 kWh at home but the chargers were saying $.48 a kWh if you are purchasing(yikes).

First stop was a Taco Bell at about 8am and we ate some breakfast items n coffee. Truck was at 80% before we were done.

3rd stop was around 2pm and that also included grabbing some fast food. Truck charged for a bit at 163 kWh's then dropped to 89. We were at 80% before we finished the fast food.

2nd stop included bathroom break(well...all 3 stops included #1's)
That stop took a bit longer(24 min?) But I was able to play with center screen and kinda figure out the software versus just doing it on ford pass app.

Never had to wait for a charger which was nice.

LOTS of Rivians though.

No other Lightnings...

Most miles in WA but some in Oregon too.

Used Blue Cruise a bunch.

Who said you can't road teio in a SR?! Lolol.

Glad everything went well! Sounds like there is more infrastructure over there. Hope it's headed my way...
