What is the best OBD device for connecting the truck to ABRP? I bought an OBDlink CX, but can this also be utilized with CarScanner and other apps?

If you use Android Auto, an OBD connection is no longer necessary. ABRP can now read the data through the Android Auto connection like Google Maps does. You have to allow the permission in ABRP to read car data.

Your OBDLink CX+ should work just fine with Carscanner and the other OBD apps.

I don’t have Android Auto. I’ve been mainly using Apple Maps thus far, but I haven’t traveled any long enough distances yet to need DCFC. Planning a longer trip in November and it looks like ABRP will allow you to set a starting SOC of 100% which is a great feature.
