All-electric, finally!

We got a too-good-to-pass up deal on a 2023 Lightning Lariat and decent trade value on our Tacoma, so we're now an all-electric household with a Mustang and a Lightning.

The Mustang is a 2022 and has ~36,000 miles of mostly road tripping.

I've never been a Ford person before now, but they made it too attractive with these vehicles.


To Do List:

• Order some all-weather floor mats;
• Figure out how to order the Pro Charger as soon as they get our voucher/coupon to us;
• Decide on a tonneau cover option;
• Clean out the garage so the Mustang can be protected from the weather

I have the BakFlip folding cover and love it. I loved that cover so much on my Ram, that I got the same model for the Lightning.

Congrats on becoming an all-electric driving household!

We became all-electric in October 2021 with my Focus Electric when we sold our ICE Focus because it was a seller's market and we could get more to put into my wife's "Lightning Fund".

I don't know how we managed to raise two kids with only one vehicle as we only became a two-vehicle household in November 2017 when we got the FFE. With its 160 km (100 mi) range, we thought it would just be a secondary commuter car, but it turned out to be our primary car quickly.

We didn't get to order the Lightning until September 2022 and didn't get it until May 2023. Now we're back to being a two-car household, but now it's all-electric.

I hate going to gas stations.

I take it as a personal affront when I have to go to a gas station. Now I just have to do it for my tractors.
