Saw this beauty on Cars and Bids. Owner says he lost 25-30 miles range Nitto Ridge Grappler A/T and that they're 25 lbs lighter (each) than stock.

Aerodynamics! The stock wheels are designed to reduce drag. I talked to Tesla owner today and he told me that he removed his wheel covers and lost 15% range.

I am not sure as it was done by my detailer. But I ended up removing it.

Personally yours looked a bit too dark for the truck, but I don't like the milky white either (if only someone could make a clear replacement light with dark reflectors / backing)
So I had planned on going with something a bit lighter.

two issues:

light bleeds through: unless you completely remove the light bar and wrap it, you will see the light bleed through the cuts. During the day it may look perfect, but at night is another story.

too dark: same observation as yours. Also too dark for the light at night.

I just decided to embrace the light bar. That’s one of the most distinct characteristics that the truck has.

I may just apply a paint protection film to protect it from rock chips

Quick pic. 2023 XLT ER. I love the truck! It's a sport truck to me so I wish it was about a 1/2 foot lower! This is my second time owning a new Lightning. My first was a black '93. I do miss that truck!
