Any MSRP dealer in NY?

Anyone know a dealer in NY that will honor msrp along with the 2022 pricing for reservations that were carried forward. I got the email from ford that they will honor 22 pricing but when I went to build the vehicle the dealer added 8k. Any reputable dealers in my area with no adm?

I make no promises but a few of us have Albany area reservations and Metro has at least *said* they would do MSRP on orders. Seems to be good thus far in all my interactions with them.

@sotek2345 ordered a Mach E from them with no issues

PS-- I think the way 2023 extensions work is the 2023 order will be at MSRP and then Ford rebates the difference to you. So you will probably reserve at new price and settle up with Ford. Metro will take the Ford invite and face value and accept it without adding anything.

If you have no luck with a NY based dealer call Mahwah Ford Sales (Mahwah, NJ), right over the border near Suffern and Nyack. Ask for Bob Hartmann ( sales rep) or Chris Donnelly (Sales Manager) .

Just picked up my ER Lariat no ADM.
Once you have a dealer with no ADM, you have to call the 1800 Number to change the dealer. Really easy. I did it. Moved from a 5K ADM to zero ADM dealer.

Also, do not hit accept. Once you do Ford cannot move the order. You have to have Ford assign the new dealer, you will exit out and renter the order page. The dealer will be listed and then you can accept. The switch was near instantaneous when I did it.

I know right. With some poking and prodding I read between the lines that the dealer makes close to $9k on a MSRP sale!! Almost no work. Clean the truck, charge it, bottle of water, some finance paperwork and out the door.

Thanks for all the info. I’ll be making some calls. It’s great that ford honored the pricing but pretty grimy what some dealers are trying to do.

Screw those stealers. Ford should keep them out of this game.

Politicians just listen to lobbyists with deep pockets instead of voters, they should have cancel the stupid dealer protection law long long ago.

I would use Van Bortel Ford in Fairport, NY. I bought my 21 F-150 Platinum PowerBoost from them and they are very transparent on their pricing and they don't negociate. The price for my 21 was a set amount below invoice + any applicable rebates on top of it. Granted the Lightning and Mach-E have different rules for dealers, i.e. the Invoice = MSRP

I ordered my Lightining through them and the price reflects the across the board pricing for the Lightning. While we did buy a Mach-E at another dealer that happend to have Stock and I was able to use X-Plan to save a few hundered dollars, I read from multiple sources that the Lightning is excluded from the X-Plan.

In all Van Bortel won't add ADM fees, like other dealers. They have also taken over a lot of dealerships in the area with high volume/low markup. It is weird to see so many people talk so positively about them so positively in forums and in person. The sales people get paid a salary and get a small fixed comission from each sale. They will get the same fixed comission if it is a Platinum Lightning or a Base Maverick. This way they aren't pressured to upsale you to a vehicle with features you don't need. The funny thing is Van Bortel's tactics has had a positive influence on other dealers in the area by making other dealers more strait forward and less sterotypical.

Hi, I used FriendlyFordNY.com located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Buying a Platinum from them, dealer policy to never charge ADMs. I know they sold and received six Lightnings this year, mine in month. Bobby is the order manager: 845-462-1900. Tell him you talked to Phil. Good luck, there are a lot of reputable dealers just need to find them. You just place order online, and they approve it while you are on phone with them to check all is as you want. Never had to go in but I may go test drive their Platinum mannequin this weekend.

Smith Cairns of Yonkers was able to move my reservation after Ford CS was not. It was because Scarsdale Ford somehow amended the reservation and was asking 8k ADM. Smith Cairns in Yonkers was fantastic in helping me.

Great outcome. Honestly most of the Ford dealers I have talked to in Upstate NY seems to be honoring MSRP for orders. On the lot is a different hell though.
