Anyone have schematics for the coolant loops in the truck? I am looking at putting a "block heater" that can be plugged in seperately in very cold conditions 0F to -40F that will keep the battery warm when parked and plugged into 120v shore power. It must work off 120V as that is most readily available and mobile charger done not appear to be adequately designed to operate at these temperatures.

Also precondition strategy for heaters switches etc? Battery does get warmed to about 55F during precondition but how and by what? There doesn't appear to be any battery heating occurring while driving and battery is consistently cooling at 10 degrees per hour while unplugged till it gets close to ambient temperature. I have tried to reach out to Ford engineers but no luck yet.

Check out this thread below, Its not exactly what you want to do but it may help you on your journey. The person added a diesel heater in-line with the coolant lines to increase cold weather range. https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/diesel-heater-install.12863/
Thanks read that. Not really interested in a complicated, very expensive alternative that requires power, diesel etc. prefer to just plumb in a 1kw-2.5kw heater and plug in when it is cold outside.

You would need to somehow engage the coolant pump to get your warmed coolant to the battery.
