What’s the best way to report this bug to ford. Is their a bug report page?
Report it to Apple, not Ford. Apple broke it with the latest update 18.3.1.

As already referenced in this thread, it’s happened to those running 18.3.1 and to those of us who don’t have that update.

While using Apple Maps, the battery information is no longer available. This started happening yesterday. Has anyone else seen this? It was always pretty accurate before.

This is new for me as of four days ago.
While I agree that this happens infrequently at times, this is different.
It’s broken communication with the phones as of 18.3

@Ford Motor Company any idea on what has happened?
This is happening to people running the newest Apple update & those who are not.

Two quick notes: first, I’m embarrassed to say this thread alerted me to some set up choices in Maps that I did not know existed. Thanks for that. Second, I’ve noticed that the CarPlay connection is very sensitive to which iOS and Ford Sync versions are running; generally speaking, it is important to have both the truck and the iPhone running the most recent versions of their software. However, that might not be the case with respect to this problem.

Mine broke too after 10.3.1
I don’t have that version yet, but mine is still broken. So I think it’s something either in FordPass, the Ford backend to Apple, or iOS 18.3.1

This is my ignorance showing, but I never new get the SOC to connect between the truck (2023 ER Lariat) and Apple maps was an option. I have been using Google Maps all this time - ugh. If someone can post how to use this (assuming it still functions in the future) I would really appreciate it.

Yep. Mine hasn't updated in 4 days as well. It is quit annoying...

Mine died the other day. I tried driving three times over two days to see if it would fix itself; it did not. The amount showing was completely inaccurate which was very unusual. Trying to fix it, I thought I’d delete and re-add the Lightning. Once I did that I couldn’t get the Lightning back on Apple Maps. So don’t try to fix it by deleting the Lightning and reinstalling. It isn’t working.

I don't think so, it is working on our MachE currently, it is just the Lightning that is broken.
Same thing here but with a twist. Leaving for my in-laws, in my Lightning, about 60 miles away the "arrival level" was at 63%. I knew that wrong. Got there at 72%. When I was a mile away the reading was still 63% and until I stopped at my destination. Using the Mach-e later I checked out the arrival level and it was fine for a small errand trip.

The thread that pulls us all together seems to be the update to 18.3. First time in the Lightning after the update.

I was really hoping someone would post this. I have the same issue or have had over the last few days. Not really sure the cause or why it keeps reverting. The SOC that it referred to was the last time I had plugged in at home when it was at 91 percent but it was supposed to be really cold that evening.

no amount of resetting or redownloading the FordPass app changed anything. Just got home from a long trip so I’ll run the nav when I goto work this evening.

Ya, this is a Lightning issue. The Mach-e works as expected.

I just saw there is a FordPass update in the App Store as of about 5 hrs ago for me. I just downloaded it but I haven’t been in my truck yet to see if it fixes the battery issue.
