Battery Level in Apple Carplay (Apple Maps) no longer available

I gave this a test today, and it seems mine still isn't working. Did anyone do something special? Or did it just work after the update? My drive was only about 20 miles, so maybe it needed more time?

Can you describe your issue a bit more? Just trying to see if yours may be a different issue. Nothing special needed for it to work again and it wasn’t an issue related to FordPass or iOS versions.

It just keeps thinking it's the SOC from a week ago.
I drove to grab food about 10 miles away, disconnected the phone and got out of the truck, then turned it on again to travel back home (not that I didn't know how to get to either location, just figured I would give it a test). Both directions it kept the SOC from about a week ago.

You can maybe try removing your truck from Maps and re-adding it. Maps may be caching something. Just a warning that earlier in the thread some people were not seeing an option to add it back but that could have been something else.

Apple Maps on your phone -> profile picture ->Vehicles -> Ford F-150 Lightning -> Remove This Vehicle (and note what time it is for `last connected`).

my issues persist even after updates to both. So what happens for me is that it doesn’t even ask me to setup my truck! I am kinda pissed off and I don’t know who to blame. Either way I am ticked and I want to just be able to use Google maps on iPhone for SOC!!!!! Please make this work!!!

Am in the same boat. Last Apple Maps EV battery level connection was a day ago.

Sorry, cannot add "FIXED". As many are still reporting problems with their SOC in Apple Maps.

Glad that I’m not the only one annoyed by this. I can see the frustration going on five pages, but here’s my story:

Charged to 100% at home before a long trip, went on the trip and consistently had issues with the battery level with maps and car play. Resetting, stopping, starting, charging and nothing changed anything.

I figure it had to do with the extreme cold, but after returning to above freezing temperatures, the issue remained. Then just this morning after no charging overnight it magically is fixed several days later. So was there an update or is ford going to tell me that the same solar flare that has kept blue cruise from becoming functional is the issue here. Ok the last part was funny, but being honest I’ve heard things as ridiculous from dealerships.

For me it happened with the 18.3 update, after the Siri changes in the UI. Battery estimate would “stick” in various incorrect values after each start up. After the 18.3.1 update it “seems” fixed but I haven’t driven much. Have yet to get the “battery level may be incorrect” warning since that update.
