Battery Temperature Indicator Accuracy?

Has anyone ever noticed a change in the battery or motor temperature indicators on the dash?

Mine are always in the middle.
100 degree day? middle.
40 degree day? middle.
cold soak in 30 degrees overnight? middle.

Makes me think the indicators are actually just static images.

The beauty of our thermal management system is that it keeps the battery pretty comfortable, the bar barely shifts until it gets really cold or hot while charging.

I did several long road trips in triple digit heat this past summer. Fast charging and hot pavement kept my battery temped pegged well past the middle. I also struggled to charge at higher rates, seems the truck was likely throttling to protect itself (I also use Google maps so it was no reconditioning because android auto integration is lacking...).

They work, your battery is just typically doing alright.

Yikes what was going on here? see it wasn’t hot outside was there a problem with the truck or was it dc charging? I have barely seen mine go slightly over middle when doing multiple dc charges. I do have the tow package though with the extra cooling. A note for ford maybe we could see degrees of temperature instead of just a bar. At least give us the option for those that want that

I had just had a battery module replacement and it seems they missed a little bit of air in the cooling system, about 2 gallons worth.
