Honestly not sure. Hasn’t been thoroughly covered from owners yet, at least from what I’ve seen. Would you include the capabilities you have with your pro in an upcoming video? Maybe you would inspire others to talk more about it.

would be cool to compare to Tesla app too… I’ll send my Venmo for a 10% cut on video revenue😉
I’d be happy to agree to a 50% cut! 50% of $0 is… not monetized yet! Still learning the ropes but I think that’s a great idea for a video

I mean I’m not sure how it’s anything more or less. It’s 10 things I don’t care for in the pro, it’s not that it’s not a great value. It’s also juxtaposed against the 10 surprises I have in another video that make it such a good value. I hear you though. It’s all part of the process. That being said, this thread is getting a lot of traction and opens up good dialogue.

To play devils advocate I could see some of these things being deal breakers for a portion of potential buyers. Like the seats or even more likely
the lack of height adjustment or vertical pedals. Imagine not being able to drive your truck cause you can’t see or comfortably reach the pedals. My girlfriend says the truck needs running boards cause it’s too high to get in in a dress which you have to wear cause the seats are too d*mn hot. say in those instances the video is far from clickbait.
As for Deal Breakers, we knew that these things -- like adjustable seats, etc. -- were not available, so that's why we moved up to a version of the Lightning that had no more deal breakers. I ended up with a Lariat (though I hate that name!) I got the first one delivered in the Boston area and I LOVE this truck!!

Exactly what I thought!! Ford offers very few line-item options (vs. "packages" of items) to keep manufacturing costs down. Makes sense.
Haha I think if you watch the video, you’d see at no point do I say “for a $40k truck you have to have xyz!” The video is more intended to be helpful for people to make sure they don’t get the pro if they need anything mentioned! It’s in fact a screaming bargain. That being said I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say the work surface should have been included in the work truck 😂

I always forget to respond whenever I see this comment.

I think "work truck" is for laborers--usually unionized.

More expensive trims, with the so-called "work surface," are for supervisors and the $100K big bopper is intended for the owner. Work surfaces aren't particularly relevant to unionized labor because it's not often they will eat fast food over a laptop. That's something a salaried position might have to suffer...or the boss who more often than not has to "live" in the truck (hence the fold-flat seats and massaging).

anyway, broad brush strokes and all that.
