I don't know that I checked this much before swapping wheels/tires, which I did pretty much right away, but anyone else having their truck "hunt" to the left, then to the right while using Blue Cruise? I fear I look like a drunk driver on the freeway. Does it pretty consistently. When not on, the truck tracks great, straight at an arrow, so I don't think it's an alignment issue. Off-road tires do great down he freeway until I go hands-free then its drunk driving looking all over again.

Anyone else having this issue? THANKS!

Yes, that was one of the first things I notice when I got Blue Cruise to finally work. I've gotten used to it but worry that I might get pulled over for suspicion of DUI if I had a cop following me.

Surprised Ford isn’t fixing/addressing this. Or are they? Assuming they collect data from our trucks there has to be some logs that show the steering constantly correcting left and right causing “swaying”. I hope this gets better over time with an OTA soon.

Interesting that you should have this problem, in a truck with BlueCruise. I have Copilot Assist on my XLT 312 (not Copilot Active, aka Bluecruise) and the Lane CENTERING capability works great, no ping-ponging at all. The old Lane KEEPING feature (on Pros and low trim XLT) is the one that ping-pongs, characteristically. Is it possible you have Lane Centering turned off in your settings, and so are limited to Lane Keeping?

BlueCruise 1.2 fixes it I've read.

There’s a service bulletin about this.

Well supposedly the PSCM update that came out the first week in March addressed this. I did the update on the 4th of March and it's been rock steady using BC ever since. No wandering at all.

...and it looks like @carys98 beat me to the punch with the TSB.

There was a similar update for the Mach-E as well for the same reasons.

If the Mach-E is anything to go by...the implementation of BC 1.2 is going to be a collection of software updates that, taken together will enable that to happen. I believe that the PSCM was the first of these updates, and we can expect an IPC, and an IPMA, at a minimum to be required.

Still doesn’t seem to be fixed on my Lightning… but wait… when did this 1.2 get released?? Just tried this again yesterday on the freeway… seemed nice for a few seconds, then drunk-driver kicked back in… left, right, left, right…. Ping pongs off the lines and seemed really bad.

We have this problem and it makes BC unusable. 50% of the time the ping ponging gets so bad the system alerts you to grab the wheel.
