Definitely hydraulic brakes with likely specialized or updated parts for EV. I don't go checking the MachE, but likely similar to Tesla. They use a Bosch designed system with integration for the regen, they also have the "Hold" feature for use in stop and go driving and one pedal driving. There will be a master cylinder and brake fluid.
