I am also nicely surprised by the quietness of Lightning. I also like the way its suspension works and how it seems to filter most bumps on the road, rides better than my Mach-E.

One of the most surprising things to me, so far, is how quiet the cabin is at high speed. I'm not going to say how high...but *high*. I know all the reviewers said it was quiet but I still didn't expect it to be this quiet. I've never owned a Mercedes S class, so maybe this is normal for high end luxury cars but my other vehicles have so much wind noise at these speeds that you can't hear yourself think. How did they get a big boxy truck to be so dang quiet? I love it!
The battery helps with road noise vs. the ICE F150. The body-on-frame construction helps vs. other EVs (AFAIK it's the only EV with full body on frame construction that's currently on sale).

Acoustic glass is standard on the windshield and driver/front passenger windows on all trims, which also helps.

I don't think the Lightning has active noise cancellation based on the ICE F150 FORScan codes.

Overall, it's much quieter from a road and wind noise perspective than my Jaguar I-Pace which is already a super quiet vehicle.
