What is the maximum speed for the F150 Lightning?

With 580 hp this truck could easily do 150+ mph but I don't think Ford wants anyone going that fast in their workhorse truck. I'm assuming the F150L has a speed limiter, but I don't seem to be able to find what the limited maximum speed is. I'm not interested in maxing out the speed in in my F150L but I am curious and Texas does have some of the highest speed limits in the country.

Does anyone know the maximum speed rating for the all-electric F150L is?

After about 100mph, I’m pretty sure the speedometer is inversely related at a 1:1 ratio to the battery meter. 0.0000001mi/kWh!

After repeated attempts, using different drive modes etc .... My 2023 ER XLT is reliably limited to 105 mph

Find a nice long downhill and put it in neutral

The time slip was included for the people that thought I made the information up. I should have ran a little longer and found the top speed. Next time I will.

107 is what I experienced two days ago, a little bit disappointed, thinking that may reach the 120 MPH that shows in the dashboard.

But is OK, I beat a Explorer ST.

I like to know what my equipment can do: the truck cut me off at 167km/h (104mph) on a long straight level section of hwy. Control and stability was solid all the way up to this max speed.

I can confirm 107 in m '22 Lariat ER as well. I wish I had not had a need to push the truck that fast, but my hub had a heart attack in January and I had to get home fast. It was flat interstate driving and the truck was rock solid. I've never been more focused or felt more safe in a vehicle before. Other than a lot more wind noise the truck handled incredibly well.

In most cases, speed limiters are set to the maximum rating of the tires for safety. I've seen some new 4x4s limited to 98 MPH from the factory because of the tires.

Back in the late 90's - 00's Panther platform cars were limited to prevent transmission damage, they were spinning the tail shaft bushings out. Crown Vic, Grand Marquis Town Car. Had sheriff stations from 3 counties in 2 states bringing their cars to my dealer for reprogramming after they complained they couldn't catch suspects, lol true story.

They were limited to 97 iirc, Ford gave me a special vin# from some sort of Lincoln variant to flash the pcm,s up to 113 mph. Kept me busy for months.
