Camera Issues

Hi,

My backup camera is very washed out and the camera button doesn't work on the sync 4 screen. Lariat with big screen.

I have tried resetting sync using volume seek button press. Have not pulled neg battery connection.

Anyone see this?

Never thought to use windex. Clean paper towel has always worked on my ICE.

Less likely to scratch the lens with a bit of moisture, non-ammonia is best

This happened to me a few weeks ago. Looked like I was watching a snowy TV channel from back in the 80s. Was also getting just a blue screen as well. Made an appointment at the dealership, but the 4.1.3 fixed her good as new.

That's great to hear! Puts my mind at ease, going to be a bit tougher to hitch up the trailer for a bit tho

If you are using 4.1.2 right now, try and force the truck to download 4.1.3 when you are on WiFi next time. I turned off my auto updates, turned them back on, and checked to see if the new one would load. Sure enough, it did and I cancelled my appointment with the dealer.

Bumping this thread. LARIATS SR 2022.

My camera issue resolved without any visible update, I'm not doing updates myself, so didn't get any update completed notice on truck or fordpass.

I did start getting quite a few ota updates and am on the new UI and Sync 713.

A day or so after the cameras went back to the same, no cameras working, 360 view not working, camera button unresponsive.

Then it started working again.

While towing and hitch camera enabled I get a message something like, some features have been disabled for safety and the cameras went back to not working.

This is frustrating any insight from the gurus out there?

Every thing else with the truck is flawless. I'm hesitant to contact my dealer, as they have a long wait for appointments.

Blue screen for my Truck Bed camera today. Wonder if related to my GPS intermittent fail that will be getting a part called a Splitter, probably for the antenna items on the roof.

see some possible solutions in the ICE forum:
cameras-glitching-out-and-eventually-stop-working
possible loose connection, or tight cabling stress, or ?
