As I type this now, I am here in the campgrounds with 35 degree F windy weather and the low is supposed to get around 25F (not factoring in wind chill). I wasn’t expecting it to be this cold and windy however by 11PM I was shivering and not feeling well. Thank goodness I had my F150L with 73% SoC as its keeping me warm during the night.

I don’t know what my SoC will be by 8AM, but I hope I should have plenty of charge left.

As someone who does this often:

It's great isn't it? It just being completely silent is amazing. If the heated seats at level 2 or 3 didn't turn off automatically after some time, you'd have way more SOC if you had a blanket to wrap yourself around in as well!

Just sucks the dash lights and infotainment lights go max brightness when you turn off the exterior lights. With no way to turn it down or off.

While there no official way to do it via software, you could also pull the fuses.

So I tried to sleep in the truck, but even with the max-recline seats I still found it difficult. However after being in the truck for over 5 hours, my SoC only went down to 68%.

Why not just run an extension cord to an electric blanket?

We like to go camping and run an extension cord to a heating blanket that we put up in the RTT. It is very cheap relative to heating the cabin.

We go camping often as well.

We noticed that if we fold up the rear seats, the rear flat floor space is pretty decent for sleeping. Of course, a sleeping mat / sleeping bag is helpful. Better that in the seats...

I slept the last two nights in my down sleeping bag and on the rear seat. Very comfy.
