Certified EV shop vs non-certified?

Hi Folks, Do you know if the NON CERTIFIED FORD service places can do the Software updates, "Minor" part swaps etc? Or will they not touch the EV with a 10ft pole? I am just thinking for the Custer Satisfaction updates..etc.

My "CERTIFIED EV" dealer in fact is NOT CERTIFIED. They "started the program" and when Ford didn't force them to complete it they bailed. So they don't work on them. Not sure the "CERTIFIED" service is even a thing.

Several threads in the location specific sub forums where people are specifically rating dealers. I know the Phoenix area we have a thread going that basically says only 2 out of the 11 in town dealers are worth a shit. See if you have a thread going for your area and start one if you don't
