Check your charge ports before plugging in. What's the worst you've seen?

I need to get into the habit of checking my charge ports and the charge plugs before plugging in.
What's the worst you've seen?

I unplugged the FCSP from the Lightning yesterday and noticed this. Gotta watch for bugs.

A few weeks ago, I happened to check a NACS plug before plugging it into my A2ZEV charge adapter and the Mustang, and I noticed that it was missing a pin. Gotta watch for damage.

Yup, grabbed my Charfe plug from my Charge Station Pro a few weeks back and discovered ants had made a wonderful nest under its cover and in the plug... Enjoyed the challenge of spraying ant repellant around the plug aninside the Charge Station Pro

I never use Charfe plugs due to their attractiveness to ants.

You do you. Charging might still have happened, but though a much reduced surface area, which means higher resistance and greater heating. I'll stick to unbroken pins.

That is a supercharger NACS plug.
