I recently had to return my 2023 XLT 312a back to Ford due to unresolved steering issues. I am considering a replacement Lightning, but unfortunately they dropped the 12" screen and physical controls for any 2024 Lightning with an extended range battery. Instead, you have to use the 15" screen. I test drove a Flash the day I returned my 2023. I could probably get used to the 15" screen controls, but I wondered what other differences there are.
I am aware all 2024 Lightnings have a heat pump. The Flash has the upgraded B&O audio system (sounded much better than what my 2023 had). I am aware that AC charging is down to 11.5kw (48a) instead of the 19.2kw (80a). Looking at the build options, it appears that the Flash mysteriously dropped the rain-sensing wipers? My 312a had it. Can anyone confirm this? Any other differences I should be aware of between a 2023 XLT 312a and the 2024 Flash trim?
