Cool mod for VenomRex VR-601 wheels

FYI, OEM Ford center caps perfectly fit the centercaps of VenomRex VR601 wheels.


It requires a bit of modification because you have to remove the original backing. I used the heat gun and a plastic trim tool, and the metal FORD plate comes off. Be careful, go slow.


I then used a few layers of double stick automotive tape and it bonds right on. The size is exact. Very pleased with the OEM look of aftermarket lightweight wheels.

I have been thinking of Venomrex or Vossens. Can I ask what size rim width did you go with and assume you are using the OEM tires the truck came with?

20" there is only one width. Stock tires fit perfectly! Saved 13lbs+ per corner. Exact same mileage. Look great

12mm I believe. The stats are on the website. Barely noticeable but do look better than stock with a better stance

I see these wheels come in 0mm offset and +12mm offset. I wonder how much the 0 offset protrude...

I have a 10% increase over 9500 miles with mixed city and highway travel, nearly 50-50. I went from 2.1 to 2.3/2.4.

Losing 48 pounds of unsprung mass and rotational weight does wonders for EV efficiency.
