Hey Everyone,

I purchased these floor mats from Husky but I'm not sure they fit totally well. Does anyone know if they will conform more over time? It's the back area that seems to not fit fully flush

I got the OEM floor mat and I put the overhang under the door scuff plate and fit perfectly. Not sure if it work for you but can try.

I'm not sure if I should keep them or not. Any other recommendations?

thanks

Mine fit better than that I think, I wonder if you have a bad batch. I can confirm tomorrow and take some pictures for you.

Did you remove the carpeted floor mats under the husky’s?

I have a Pro, and they fit OK only. They slide around a bunch. Hoping when it warms up they relax a little more. Might explore a way to add something underneath them to get them to “stick” a little better.

I looked up the part numbers from husky and they were the same from my 2016 f150, so when I traded it in on the lightning I just transferred them over. The front ones fit perfect, while the back one seems a little big around the console and the seat tracks. It works great though.

I've always found that the Husky mats, and all other contoured rubber mats, fit best after they have sat in the sun and warmed up for a few hours after taking them out of the box.

I am using the same Husky mats that I purchased for my 2021. They don't look like the pictures in the OP. They may take some time to settle if you don't set them out in the sun.

Update: the back ones ended up settling a bit so they fit a lot better than when initially installed. They still sit about a half inch high off the floor, but they've been working well enough, especially for the price. They don't slide around or anything and the front ones are perfect.

I have the husky floor mats in a pro, but I'm wondering if I should cut off all the pins in the bottom, as the car already has a rubber membrane stretching across the entire floor. They stay in place just fine, but I don't like the idea of the rubber pins being the only thing in contact with the surface. I'm afraid they might do some damage over time.

Does anyone have some input on this?

Based on the feedback in this forum, I ordered Husky liners. They fit far better than my Weathertechs did in my old ICE F-150.
Thanks again for all the valuable feedback on this site.

I'm looking into mats at the moment and it seems there are two types of Husky liners. The Weather Beaters which are more stiff and the X-Act Contour line. The X-Act line are supposed to be softer and so I think they would have a better fit. Not sure on that but they are 100 bux more expensive.

I'm also looking at Weathertech and their HP line which sounds like they are equivalent to the X-Act line.

I have them in my Pro - the X-Act ones - they're nice. As mentioned, fit better than the WeatherTech ones I had in my last truck (Nissan Frontier).

I had seen these on Amazon and just glossed over them but looking into them on the forum, they seem really popular in this group! I'm really digging the coverage on these but I'm curious about something. Did you have to use any of the supplied clips?
