Do you use AM Radio?

Just curious what your thoughts are on AM Radio. Do people still use it?

There's an AM station in town that plays 40's, 50's, & 60's pop. Music that was originally made for AM broadcast. Very nostalgic.

when I get tired of the AM whine and narrow frequency band, I switch to FM.

I only use it when there are no FM stations available. Sometimes I’ll listen for nostalgia sake. I don’t subscribe to Sirius/XM

I only use it when I accidentally hit the button, and then desperately try to remember how to go back to FM.

I used it once to listen to a talk show regarding the 2016 election live results when driving back from school at 11PM.

I was driving a 2001 Frontier without an AUX so it was easier than putting on some livestream

I used to for Kings games on 1140 AM but I've lost interest in the NBA the past few years. Need to get back into it but its hard when we haven't had a team over .500 in like 15 years.

Am radio!!! If there's no sync or FM I just use Bluetooth and listen via phone app

if I drive near Boston I listen to AM radio for traffic reports. Or sometimes a baseball game. Although with the free Sirrus radio, I can listen to more games and get the cool score board. As a Yankee fan living in New England, this comes in handy.

I work for an electrical utility and I am a ham radio operator. AM radio helps us find bad connections that cause noise and heat in the distribution lines.
