Did you need the Spring/Shock package to get a better ride or just the shocks? I don't need it lifted (although an inch or two wouldn't hurt), I just want a firmer ride with less bounce.

Lift? one of the very few complaints I have about my Lariat is it's too high! My previous PU's were a Chevy Avalanche and before that a Silverado. The Lightning sits about 4" higher and is a little challenging for my aging body.

Damn, that's wild. So I mean I know the platinums have or at least had massage seats with lay flat functionality, but do we know what else is that much heavier inside the cab? More sound deadening or something?

remember the Platinum has larger tires than the other trims.
