More if we get the max proposed EV credits going, close to $15k counting state ($2.5k) incentives. It drops EV’s like Leaf, Bolt, Kona, ID4 into the $35k average new car price.I just don't imagine low rent folks using EV's just yet.
More than a few “low rent folks” driving maxed out pickups. Spending too much on vehicles is an American tradition and the pickups lead the parade. A $75k mid range pickup or buy a house is likely a decision in more than a few households in US. F150EV will be saving them $2,500 a year on gasoline on average vs. similar priced ICE F150.
F150 will fit in my underground garage EV parking spot and in the parking garages at the malls.
