First charging using siblings tesla charger says error

I’m at my sisters house trying to use her Tesla charger with my adaptor. Button on side of truck went blue but App says charging error. Do I have to register my truck with her charger or something?

Or can I only use this with a supercharger?

Assuming you are referring to a Level 3 DCFC adapter which then only will work on Level 3 (superchargers).

AC Level 1/2 requires different adapter. There are several on the market. I use a Tesla Tap.
