What is the benefit of adding the truck to the app before we own it/take delivery?

plus there's the very small chance someone at Ford will accept the activation in the truck when prompted and your truck will fully "light up" in the app. I'm aware of at least one person that has had that happen.

The benefit is hitting the Activate Button and hoping someone hits the Activate Button on the truck, then you can track the movement of the truck. You have to wait until it’s actually shipped to hit activate though or else Ford employees will deny you.

Happened to me . DENIED Then a week of not being able to try activate. Nothing since being able to hit activate again. So just waiting for Ford driver to deny me again when they move it off a lot.
