I looked at the FORScan changes for the ICE trucks mentioned here. I compared them to my database of Lightnings/ ICE Hybrid As-Builts (as well as my own 22 Lariat which has the feature).

Here are the original changes stated in the ICE post with my notes for Lightnings in blue. Note that I refer to 22's (have the option) and 23's (option was removed). 24 Lariats and Platinums should be the same as 23's. The 24 Flash has some completely different values in some places so these changes would not apply. I can dive deeper into the '24 Flash if someone wants to try this but since it is an XLT at heart, it may not be applicable to that trim.

IPC
720-02-02 *xxx xx-- enable PARGCF. 22's and 23's all have 4, no change needed.
720-09-02 xxxx *x-- enable PAGR. 22's and 23's all have 2, no change needed.
720-11-01 xxx* xxxx xx-- Perimeter Alarm Text. 22's and 23's all have 4, no change needed.

BCM

(I split 726-02-02 into 2 lines since there were two changes in that section)
726-02-02 x1xx xxxx xx-- enable Retrig. 22's and 23's all have 0, no change needed. Different than ICE
726-02-02 xxxx x1xx xx-- Set security config to both. change 0 to 1
726-55-01 xxxx xx01 xx-- LIN CSM Config. change 00 to 02. Different than ICE
726-65-01 xxxx xxx1 xx-- CSM Slave present. change 0 to 1

APIM

7D0-09-01 xxxx xxx* xx-- Enable PARGCF. change 8 to C
7D0-09-02 xxxx xxxx *x-- Enable PAGR. change 0 to 1
7D0-09-04 xxx* xxxx XX-- for 2024's, change to a 1 (from @Jesse-Infotainment)

LIN module calibration (see post 33)

So really just a few changes to the BCM and APIM. Note the differences in ICE I highlighted in red above. So if you used the ICE values "as is" you may have messed up a feature. @astrand1 @ScubaSteve_TheReal @Jim Lewis @watts/up

And for those just tuning in, this mod is for the 2023-2024 Lariat / Platinum that had the Advanced Security Pack removed. You also need to add back the removed sensor. Read this entire thread and the link to the 14th gen thread that has installation instructions

Interesting. I see that the 2024's have a 1 there but all the 22's and 23's I have looked at (7 from each MY) have a 0. Same with the few ICE trucks - only 2024 has a 1. So 2024 seems to be different. I'll look at Livnitup's spreadsheet to try to understand the difference.

Good to know the Flash can add this. I added this to my post above.

Well. Let me add some details about the FLash.. I added the wiring for it..

Also the over head console doesnt have the cutouts for the sensors.. I added them as well..

So its much more involved than jsut adding it to a truck that has the blank..

What other wiring would I need to add for the xlt and what cutouts or where do they go. I guess I just drill it out?

What wiring should I use and do I need to run them from up at the top? Any other photos you can share. The bcm and other pieces make sense. Still confused on the linbus a little

Added the Security Pack to my '23 Lariat today. Thanks to everyone for postings here and on the Gen 14 forum.

Overall it went as planned. I did have the factory blue dummy box that was connected to wiring harness, but no pins or leads in the box. I also had to remove the back cover of console after I had it out. It was only way I could get the sensors into position, The middle sensor was the most difficult, just took some finesse.

A big thank you to @bmwhitetx for all the FORSCAN info. Made that part a lot easier.
Before disconnecting FORSCAN I did a BCM LIN Module Config using the "wrench" icon on left side of FORSCAN screen. Then I cleared out the DTCs and all was good.

Tested the motion alarm by waving my arm through the open window. Horn sounded and I also got an alert on my phone from Ford Pass app. (nice surprise).

Here are some photos I took. All in all it seemed a worthwhile project.

There are 3 separate harness to unclip from the console. One for lights, one for rear sliding window switch and one for the motion sensor.

Didn't get any pictures of the motion harness, but here is a photo of the blue boxes where the harness plugs into. The "dummy" blue box (bottom in photo) did not have any pins in its connector.
