Another way to indirectly confirm the DIY female pin placement and assignment is for anyone here who does have the OEM wiring connection already present, to share a pic of what the female pin connector looks like, with the three present female pins visible (to establish which of the sensor's four male pins is unused).
Here’s a link to the connector on an ICE truck. This matches the way I wired mine. Again, can’t confirm it is correct though.

Thanks. So from the F150 Gen14 post it looks like the leftmost male pin in my sensor picture (post #74 above) is the unused male pin.

I can guess the 12 Volt pin from that post as well... I think (the blue PosiTap to the rear window circuit).

I'll look again, harder to identify the ground pin and once that is clear, that will naturally resolve the LINBus pin identity as well.

What you state sounds right to me as far as pins and wiring. In that post the user says the T-taps are for dashcam power and ground (you would need the ground only). Going right to left I see Power, LIN, Gnd. There are numbers on the connector that correspond to this order but they are very small.

Oh wow I looked for the numbers but missed them. Thanks!

So, gentlemen and ladies, is there consensus that a mere civilian ignorant of concepts like “CANBUS” (me) would be able to install the perimeter alarm in a vehicle from which it was omitted during the Great Chip Shortage and, once installed, experience reliable operation? Thank you for all your expertise.

I think so, provided the Ford sensor wiring harness is present.

Otherwise, it takes some wiring supplies etc. and some manual labor to string them.

After reading this thread, I ordered and got the missing part and installed it today. This could not be easier. A few tips to help anyone struggling through it.

1. I was able to get the control panel with sunroof controls down without a pry tool. I opened the sunglass holder and pulled down from the outer edge while holding the inside of the holder. It’s important to note when folks say start at the back, they mean the back as it relates to the cars orientation so opposite of the windshield. I worked some fingers in on the drivers side closest to me and was able to pull the console down with a little effort.

2. Remove the 6 screws holding the black plastic shroud to give you better access to place the sensors.

3. For the sensors I places the end opposite the wire in first and was able to click them in. It is tricky as they are slanted a bit.

4. Programming was spot on from the previous post using Forscan. Had no issues here at all.

Initialized linbus and then tested. It worked like a charm. I love that for 30 something odd bucks I can add this useful feature back. Locked the car with my windows down and reached inside to the middle which set the alarm off. Especially love that alarm reporting is built into the FordPass app. This is seriously one of my favorite cheap mods.

Thank you to all who contributed to this thread especially with Forscan programming. I don’t think this could be easier.

I got everything installed as well I'm curious how far in do you have to reach to set the alarm off? Where did you find actually triggered?

I reached in to the center console area and waved about for a sec and it went off.

So I added the blue sensor box and cut out the aperture slits on my 2023 XLT. Now I'm running the wiring down to the BCM.

Can anyone here confirm that the two BCM connector plugs with the white locking levers in my attached picture are indeed Connectors C2280C (middle connector) and C2280E (bottom connector)?

...or otherwise pls do

Awesome - thanks for steering me straight.
I got the module and sensors installed today, following the guidance posted in this forum. With a trim tool, hex driver, and 10 minutes of spare time, it was a snap. I’m keeping the blue dummy box as a souvenir of the (first?) Great Supply Chain collapse.

Just got mine installed today too! What a pig it was getting the sensors situated - not totally obvious how to install them and was worried about snapping off the white plastic clips. Just need to test it now but that’s a job for tomorrow.
