Can anyone help me understand what needs to be done differently on a 2021 to install fox coilovers? I've been told be several sources that they will not fit without modification, but I've seen several folks with them installed. So what needs to happen? I've seen that the lower perch needs to be adjusted. Is there anything else required as to why Fox will not come out and say it'll work on a 2021.

I'm looking at the 2.0 or 2.5 system. Fit-up should be the same I'd imagine between the two.

Curious to hear any thoughts you all may have. I'm not seeing many options specifically calling out a 2021.

It’s complicated. If you ask FOX they say to wait for Gen14 shocks. Roush says use Gen13 shocks; but, lower the spring perches by 5/8”.

Ford changed the front motion ratio on the Gen14. So, I’m waiting.

From all I’ve read what you are saying is spot on. The Roush kit actually shows 2021. Is lowering the perch all that’s required for the other Fox systems? I don’t know. I don’t mind waiting. Hope we get news on something soon. I’d rather not get an ICON system.

I'm in the same boat as you guys. Just spoke with Fox on the 21-22 2.5 fitment. They said that it will be another 6-8 months due to supply issues. Its making me reconsider the 2020 fitment 2.5's. Anyone on here running the 2020 2.5's on their gen14?

Also spoke with Accutune who had a customer install 2020 fox 2.5's on his 2022 without complaint. So its been happening....

There is a BDS Fox Coil-over kit (4 or 6 inch lift adjustable coil) that is available that works for 2021 trucks. Thats what I am planning on doing once my platinum arrives

This topic's been beat to death all over forums (I've done my part!) and there may be some answers in here for you... https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/eibach-pro-truck-lift-kit-for-2021’s.6131/page-4

Eibach 2.0 coilovers and shocks getting installed on Saturday. Reducing preset preload 1/2" to target a 2" level. That's the only modification I'm doing out of the box.
I appreciate the link! This has helped quite a bit. At this point, I think I'm going to wait it out for product to become available specifically for the 2021s.

I have an email from Fox dated 12/28/2021 saying April release. Before that "by the end of the year". I'd say another year for Fox.

Yeah, about a month ago and they said the same thing. For 5100s only. 6112s are probably about the time Fox's comes out.

And FWIW there is a coilover product available for the 2021+ trucks... from Eibach. Yes the front motion ratio/suspension geo changed for the Gen14s, but a major reputable suspension company has determined that their specific product with its proprietary valving and travel/length performs right and is safe for the application. Of anyone I know, I'd be the guy to wait for the purpose-built latest/greatest products to come out to make sure I get the very best (especially on my first brand new truck). In this case, I feel confident in multiple sources at Eibach saying the same thing. But again, it gets installed tomorrow and my review is TBD...

I installed the Fox 2.0 on my 2021 Powerboost yesterday. I did adjust the perch per Roush instructions and gained 2 1/8” of lift in the front. Ride quality is awesome; got rid of all the body roll.
