Free Electrify America Charging Weekend (Memorial Day?)

Traditionally EA gives free charging on holiday weekends. Sometimes they notify members, sometimes it is via word of mouth as people charge.

I'm counting on it, coming back from a trip on Thursday and won't charge up at home, nice $10 free on our weekly grocery trip run.

If you have your truck by then, you could save some money also.

I'm betting the number of people who will have their vehicles by next weekend is in the single digits or less. Hopefully they will repeat it for Labor day, which is a lot more likely.

Last year, they offered this on every major travel holiday. But curiously, its not always offered in all areas. You can run into the odd EA station that is not participating.

Which is good, since I didn't want to charge our 2022 Mach-E from 10%, and it ended up charging in the middle of the night... So now free charging doesn't help me this weekend.

Not free this weekend. A number of other forums have been asking this question. Seems many complain that free weekends mean that the chargers will be over used and few will be able to access.
