I thought that it may have been a cruise control issue, and it still could have been, but then that would say something about it not turning off when I applied the brakes. I wasn't aware enough at the time to notice whether the cruse control indicator was lit up. It was a bit harrowing, other traffic around and coming to a stop in a turn lane, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to keep the thing from ramming the car ahead of me. Whole episode lasted most of a minute.I seem to remember, a number of months ago, that if I turned on cruise control (and I use ACC as much as possible), then it would stay active when I turned the truck on again. So the resume button might hold the last speed - 72mph! Better not hit that accidentally. But at some point it changed to require reactivation after restarting. Truck has had the 6.8 update at this point, so I wonder if some folks are not fully updated yet?
