How to replace steering wheel?

Is it easy to replace the current steering wheel? I bought a leather wrapped one off ebay to replace my polyurethane one, but I dont want the airbag exploding on me. For ICE ones, I saw you disconnect the battery for 10 min and you should be good, but with a lightning is it different? Has anyone done this already? I dont want to pay the dealer to do it if its something simple. I know once you get the airbag off, its just unplugging some cables, one nut, then plugging them back in with the new wheel.
