We have them for the workhorse trims, now let's see them for the luxury trims so people know what to expect.

King Ranch 601A 3.5EB with Max Tow, FX4, moonroof.

One thing I noticed.... I expect the motorized tailgate to be a big weight hit, and it is forced upon you with 601A (and chrome appearance also forces 601A). One thing I did was try to give the tailgate a lift/nudge to let the power take over. It wouldn't do it. So the feature must have been disabled in the dash. BUT - strangely it felt like the tailgate (even though it has a tail step and was motorized) was LIGHTER than my current 2017 tailgate with a tailstep. I don't think I was on drugs or an adrenaline rush but I wish I would have done a more scientific comparison!

Thank you for starting this thread. For myself, the closest sticker I have found was from the Platinum Tireman bought. It’s from a Plat with max tow, FX4, 701A, 7.2kW truck with PB. There are very few PB stickers, perhaps because so few have been delivered.

is that 1510lbs sticker just for the tire capability? because because if you subtract that from the gvwr of 7050 you would get a truck weight of 5540lbs which seems a couple hundred pounds high to me. also if you combine the front gawr of 3600 and the rear gawr of 3800 that gets you 7400 total weight so why is the gvwr 7050.

It gets weirder... There are now TWO different flavors I have seen of the 7050# GVWR with FX4 and max tow: One where the axle ratings are 3600+3800, and one (like the image I show) where they are 3600+4150. BOTH are listed as 7050# GVWR.

To make things weirder, the 157" wheelbase gets a 3600+4150 but gets a bump in GVWR to 7150#. The Powerboost FX4 maxtow gets 3900+4150 and gets a full 7350# GVWR.

So if I were taking delivery of an EB maxtow and my rear axle is only 3800 I would question why I did not get the better axle. I think I will bump my GAWR thread and see if more owners can share white stickers.

Thanks! This helps confirm that both REGULAR tow and maxtow both get the #4150 rear axle on the powerboost. I thought you had maxtow and entered it wrong.

Relative to all the discussions of Payload, people are getting (rightly) focused on whether their trailer tongue weight + cargo + wife + 7 kids + dogs will exceed their payload. I'm looking at a loaded Platinum Powerboost & heavy car trailer, so put me in that group as I'm guessing my payload will be in the mid-high 1200s! The obvious concern is whether someone's truck will just fall apart if they exceed the payload by, say, 50lbs.

Something that gets missed is the payload sticker is the calculated payload as it left the factory and including options e.g. add a bedliner and hard tonneau and you've reduced payload by, say, 100lbs+. If those were factory options, they were already figured in ... but if the dealer installs them for you after the fact he doesn't revise the payload sticker! So that's "hidden weight"

Possibly I'm a bit OCD, but I did some googling on what the Feds say about this, see FMVSS Standard. The gist of this is that the Feds allow the manufacturer/dealer to add the lower of 1.5% of GVWR or 100lbs of options to the vehicle after manufacture without needing to revise the payload sticker. The Feds perspective seems to be that 100lbs over the rating doesn't have any noticeable impact on safety - they use tire loading as an example, see NHTSA Overload Tires

I'm not taking any position on the above, read the standard and draw your own conclusion, but I thought this was interesting and does offer a perspective for anyone worried about getting a little close to max payload ....

Not sure if Ford does it or not but my Totoya truck had a yellow sticker of every dealer installed options to add onto the factory sticker for payload.

My reading of the FMVSS is that if the dealer installed options were > 100lbs a replacement / amending sticker would be required by law.
