Yeah, I get it now... (time for bed apparently)
got lost in my own measurements on my panels but that's different because of the neutral and mostly single phase loads needing two CTs for most of the functions (sub panels, range, etc.)

Sorry - total brain fart

Maybe I'm missing something here, but by only measuring one leg / phase aren't you only getting half the amperage / kW reading ? (or does it have an internal function to double the reading hoping both legs are 100% balanced)
My Emporia Vue has a multiplier if you only monitor one.

Which you'll need because Vue measures each phase (voltage) separately.

This is why I got lost yesterday as well, didn't think / realize that the device mentioned here measures the voltage across both phases (240 vs. 120) and then it's just as simple as P=U*I (watts = volt * current)

You should put fuses on your voltage wires since the 100A breaker will let 16AWG wires incinerate completely long before it feels like tripping. Remember the breakers and fuses are to protect the wires...

I was uncertain how this would work, but Maquis is right. With no neutral wire the current is equal through each leg of the 240V supply. My meter reads 76-77A when charging after a few minutes.
I finally got around to hooking up the KWS-AC301 meter today. It is working as expected other than I’m not getting anything in the Temp slot. 🤔

Thanks for leading the way on this. 👍

You have to hook up the temperature transducer to get a reading.

I saw that after doing a little online research. I didn’t get that with meter so it’s either an option or misshipped in my order.

Would be nice to have, but no big deal for now.

Thanks again!

Do you know of a way to access this?
I've been looking for a way to integrate this into Home Assistant.
There is a software integration program, but I have no idea what it runs on. There is limited information on the web about it.
