Found out about some additional rebates for Plan pricing through Ford after looking into trading in my MACH-E and came across some extra rebates eligible for the Platinum Lightnings. I just did a lease 2 weeks ago on a Platinum Lightning.

i agree that the deals on a new 2024 Lightning are great.

Total rebates, incentives and ECO added up to $21,615. (See below)
X-plan discount also reduced cap cost
Plus the lease was 0.05% (essentially zero)
Residual on 7,500 mile 39 month was 56%

Did you “find” any additional rebates that I missed,?

Yes it was. I believe that Dealers were offered to buy the existing inventory at a discount from the replenishment centers, to clear out inventory before the 2025s come to market. There is much is different with the 2025s

Changes for 2025
- Tire Inflator and Sealant Kit is now standard
— Spare Wheel and Tire are now optional (60S)
— Fast Charging Adapter (NACS) is now included with the now $600 Mobile Power Cord (66A)
— BlueCruise Equipped (1-Year Plan) is now standard on Platinum

The incentives I received are good for Lease only. Buying outright reduces the incentives by $2,000 since the $9,500 RCL Lease incentive is replaced by a $7,500 retail sale incentive. Buying still has a ZERO interest rate.

Included in the incentive listing was we had a private cash offer for $2k
Another $1k because we didn’t take the charger plus install

Be aware that rebates are taxable, not like a dealer or X-Plan discount, so we had to pay sales tax on the $21,615 upfront.

Then the X-plan discount was another $3,553.

Since it was X-Plan, the only price negotiation was for selling my 23 Lightning Lariat, which was a totally separate deal. I got offers to sell it from at least 6 different places. The selling dealer finally matched the best offer. Initially their offer was $4k lower. It was last day of the month and they called me 2 hours before they closed while I was at another Ford dealer getting a price to buy my 2023. . Supposedly they needed the sale to make a sales quota for a dealer bonus.
