I would hate and try to avoid any stations that charged by the minute, for various reasons. The biggest one is they have no incentive to provide the advertised charge for the equipment.This would be almost the same as paying by the minute instead of by the kWh.
Springfield has an EA station that the 350 has never broken 100 kW when I was there. Sadly I get better speed on the 150 a stall over.
At least at the $ per kW they have incentive to get as much electricity out the door to make their money. Also for EV adoption it is bad form for a person that needs a more basic city car gets penalized at a low SOC compared to a Hummer EV just because they needed a “cheaper” car that the manufacturer crippled at 50-75 kW charging.
