How are you guys holding them to no ADM? I am trying to call around to find a lot without ADM as I found mine was hinting at ADM and that they don't currently know what the market will be doing at the time of my order.

Do you call lots asking about ADM then ask them to give it to you in some writing or email before switching over to them?
I e-mailed the GM at the dealership, who provided an e-mail response with no ADM and here are our fees. The fees were reasonable so I switched. Then another forum member contacted the same dealership a few months later and was told they are charging ADM. I do not know if the GM will honor his e-mail to me a year or more from now, when I expect/hope to get an invite.

Nobody seems to know for a fact what will/can happen with these dealers. I was waiting to see how this all shakes out after a few waves of dealer bullshit. But...I've resigned myself to the fact that until you actually are finalizing the purchase with the truck in the lot and sitting at the salesman's desk all bet's are off and you can't count on anything. I walk then and the ADM gets paid by the next guy . I just hope that Ford might maintain my reservation so I can start all over again. By then I'll have a decent chance of finding out how far the GM/Silverado guys are trying to bend people over !!
This just isn't as much fun as I was hoping for a toy I don't need.

I agree. Purchasing a $50K plus truck that you "want" more than "need" should be painless, perhaps even enjoyable. Between market conditions, greedy dealers with ADMs and add-ons, and the way the reservist's expectations have been managed by Ford (dealers allowed to prioritize, ZEV states prioritized, trims prioritized, bundling things to make an ER a $19,500 add, etc.) they have sucked the joy out of the process. I am about ready to pull the proverbial plug and enjoy my "ICE-ICE Baby"!

My dealer charges ADM on everything I suppose; however, when I contacted them, after I said “hello,” and the salesman responded, I told him, “Listen, if you’re charging ADM on the Lightning, just hang up right now.” He ran to his GM, came back and said, “Yes we do charge ADM but not for you.” I told him I needed that in writing. He drafted up the email stating such and forwarded to his GM who backed what his salesman said and then the GM sent it to me.

I drove to the dealership to BS with my salesmen to establish report; so, I know for a fact that mine will be at MSRP. Two BUTS:
  • Apparently, my reservation number is way high, and the way allocations are going, it will be 3 years or longer before I received it
  • Once I saw the Silverado, I changed my mine and ordered it and I’m 4 at my Chevy dealer, the same dealer where I’m 37 for the C8 Corvette E-Ray. Hoping to receive them both at the same time
I’m still keeping my Lightning spot; who knows what will happen in 3+ years from now.

Thanks, Looks like I need to be aggressive and straight to the point and I still may get screwed. My order is 1092### also so I shouldn't be anywhere near this year unless I get lucky at a local dealer that somehow gets one and they had almost no reservations.

Please update Greg Darnell Ford in Oklahoma to ADM added. I would not want to mislead somebody in the same way that I was misled.

Nothing yet. The dealer hasn't contacted me and I have not yet heard back from Ford support. Ford said that it may take a few days to escalate, so if I haven't heard anything from Ford support by tomorrow, I will call again to check for a status update.

My bigger concern right now is being responsible for putting the dealer's name on the list with "No ADM" and somebody else making a reservation with them as a result.

You aren’t responsible for sleezeball dealers who go back on their word after telling you they will sell at MSRP. If my dealer does the same after I order after telling me multiple times the price will be at MSRP, best believe I will create quite a scene at the dealership in front of customers, call ford to report them in any capacity I can, and then be so petty as to rent a billboard pointing directly at the dealership with something creative and colorful to reflect how much of a douche they were during the purchase process of a $80K truck.

I am still trying to find a close dealer that wont add MSRP. I am also trying to avoid a 200+ reservation dealership because they aren't doing MSRP. So I am calling around. If i get screwed by ADM I plan to be very vocal and contact as many people as I can.

I figure if the ADM is too wild then I will order a maxed out truck for that lot in order to make them hold on to it longer....if that hurts them some.

Time to put the fine print to work in your favor :)
Go to your order page, scroll down to Dealer Selling Price and click on the E20.

Dealer Selling Price: Price the dealer is willing to sell the vehicle for in purchase transaction and corresponds to the estimated dealer selling price for the vehicle displayed in Pricing Summary. Excludes....

Now scroll down to Order Deposit and click on E134

Order Deposit: The deposit your dealer will receive or has already received to process your order. The Order Deposit will be applied towards the purchase price of the vehicle. By paying an Order Deposit, you are agreeing to the Dealer's selling price for your selected vehicle.

Also make sure you have tweeted Mike Levine and post what your dealership is requesting, especially if it is in writing. If it is not in writing, tell them you will think about the ADM IF they send it to you in writing...tell them you want to make sure they don't raise the price even more (and then post that to Mike!)

Hope this will help people in the 3rd wave. My experience with my initial dealer was a nightmare. Dealer: All American Ford at Old Bridge, New Jersey. After I got invitation in the 2nd wave, a sales rep called to remind me about the order. I asked about ADM, and she said they sell at MSRP. I called next day but it went straight to voice mail. I emailed to come in and get written order agreement, but no reply. By next Wednesday, I wrote that I will move my order if no response. Even then no communication. On Friday, over a week after invitation, I went to the dealership to talk to the manager. A sales manager came and got upset that I was complaining about their poor customer service and insisted on a paper order agreement. He refused to give any document, saying there is nothing to do except order online. After I showed memo from Ford, he went inside and got a printed paper, and wrote down MSRP, but added Estimated Price. I asked why it is estimated, not actual price. He got even more mad that I was questioning this, and started raising voice and told that the deal is over, and he will cancel my order and refund the deposit. Then he literally kicked me and my wife out the door threating to call police and that it is a private property. I immediately called Ford and transferred my order to Fullerton Ford at Sommerville NJ, who previously said I can get MSRP. The same day I went to Fullerton and got signed order form. Please add Fullerton Sommerville NJ - No ADM.

This is crazy. So your wave 2 invitation followed you to the new dealership and you could put your order in? So the second dealer gave your a signed order form with msrp? Can we get this before ordering?
