I got my lightning about a month ago, and just swapped out my lug nuts tonight. I noticed the torque spec is 150 lb/ft, but I don’t necessarily trust my torque wrench. I put it on a factory lug nut, and no click. I pushed harder, still no click. I thought it was broken.

I backed the torque off to 90, tried again and got it to click. I slowly bumped up the torque and tried again. I found most of the lug nuts on the right two wheels were about 90 to 110 lb/ft. I went on my merry way removing the chrome lug nuts and found some of them felt hardly more than hand tight.

I am just curious is anyone else has had a similar experience? I’m just glad I swapped them and hopefully they’re all at spec now.

My 2 Tesla's also come from factory with less than 100 lbs where spec is 140. Found this when mobile tech came to my house to rotate the tires. He said every one he does first rotation is torqued low from the factory for some reason.
